Abstract

Despite of the increasing advancement in the healthcare system, medication errors continue to exist.
These errors are an increasing burden in modern healthcare practice in terms of both human sufferings and
financial costs. Classification, Preventive Measures and the methods of Incident Reporting are the crucial
elements to be considered while determining medication errors. The data available for same is vast and
widely distributed. So an effort is made to compile the data available and provide a learning platform to
improve understanding regarding medication errors among trainees as well as all healthcare professionals in
order to upgrade the existing healthcare facilities.
