Abstract

Surgical site infection is a type of nosocomial infection that not only increases the medical expenses of the
patient but also the risk of fatality. It is of major concern as the patient has come for treatment of diseases
and getting a new infection due to negligence in following sterilization and asepsis protocols during surgery.
Therefore the article enlists the method on how to manage SSI.
