Abstract

Head injury is the condition of brain function changes or pathological conditions in brain caused by the pressure that coming from the outside of brain. The occurrence of head injury is very high in the world followed by the level of death and disability. Therefore, requires initial assessment to predict the impairment of head injury patients by using RTS. This study purposed to determine the accuracy of RTS in predicting impairment of head injury patients. This study used analytical observational design with retrospective approach. Total respondents in this study was 245 medical records of head injury patients. Measurement was conducted by using observation sheet. Data were analyzed using Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC). The AUC values of RTS was 0851, explained that RTS had a good discrimination value. RTS could be used in predicting the outcome of head injury patients
