Abstract

Recognition of donor antigens by recipient T cells in secondary lymphoid organs initiates the adaptive
inflammatory immune response leading to the rejection of allogeneic transplants. We present a unique
case of a 38-year-old male with late allograft rejection due to immunosuppressive cytotoxic therapy.
There is limited literature available as well as management. This case highlights the need for further
investigative research of this entity and its pathogenesis.
