Abstract

Sudden outbreak created many psychological problems, social panic and it also worsen the mental health conditions.
The survey was conducted in Tamil Nadu during the pandemic period to examine the COVID-19 related coping
mechanisms and associated factors in the study locations. The lockdown restrictions had impacted among the
significant proportion of the study population’s mental health status and among them a major proportion of were
cope up by ‘engaged with family members’.
