As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
Submissions-Usually there are multiple authors of the manuscript , only one corresponding author is to be designated for all the communications with the journal .It is the responsibility of corresponding author to warranty that the data in the manuscript is original and scientifically accurate;the manuscript is the genuine original work without invading any right of privacy and does not infringe on any copyright and all authors have agreed to participate in the peer review process. The corresponding author also warranty that the manuscript is not under consideration for publication elsewhere and will not be submitted elsewhere for publication till the review process by the journal.
The submission of file is in Microsoft Word file format.
Send one file only including Text, Tables and Figures.
Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of IJPOT will be reviewed.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Guidelines for authors for submitting a manuscript
All authors are advised to read first following policies before submitting article to journal and agree to it.
Copyright and Licensing Policy
Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:- -Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
-Authors continue to retain publishing rights to the article without restrictions.
Review Policy for articles- The journal follows double blind peer review policy for all articles. Once the article is received, it is forwarded to our two reviewers after removing names of authors and their affiliations. Authors are also not informed names of reviewers. Reviewers send their comments in due course of time and these comments/ queries are forwarded to authors to make corrections or offer explanations. Once the editor is satisfied with corrections in manuscript or explanations given by authors, authors are conveyed the decision of acceptance of article. If author/s refuses to make corrections as suggested by reviewers, manuscript is rejected for publication.
Plagiarism checking policy- The journal has zero tolerance policy for plagiarism. IJPOT uses Dupli Check plagiarism software on a random sample of articles prior to peer review.Manscripts in which plagiarism is detected will be rejected outright.
The Journal follows ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journals Editor) guidelines. Authors are requested to visit http://icmje.org/on how to prepare article. Please go through latest recommendations and then submit article.
Cover letter Instruction for Authors
Before submission prepare the author information and Cover letter.
This must include:
The title of the manuscript.
Authors details including their names,emails,mailing address,designation ,affliation with work/college address and contact number.
A statement that the content in the manuscript is the original work of the author and entire information in it is accurate.
Ensure all research is conducted fairely and ethically.Articles presenting research on human subjects must provide either the name of the ethics committee that approved the study or confirm that no approval is needed.
A statement that the content in the manuscript has not been previously published and is not being concurrently submitted elsewhere.
List of all sources of financial support and declare any potential conflicts of interest.
The manuscript should be in English and prepared on the following guidelines: -
File Format
The submission of the file should be in Microsoft Word file format.
Word Count
Full length articles - not exceeding 3000 words including references but excluding tables and figures.
Short article - not exceeding 2000 words including references.
Review Article - not exceeding 4000 words.
Language
Manuscripts should be written in concise, fluent and grammatically correct English.
Title
Title should be brief , specific and informative.
Authors
Name of the authors along with their designation should be mentioned. Superscripting must be done to number the authors. Number of authors should not exceed 7 authors.
Address of the Institution
Address of the institution where the research work was carried out should be written below the names of authors.
Corresponding Author Detail
Write the corresponding author’s contact details before the abstract.
Abstract with keywords
Abstract with keywords should be in about 200-300 words . Standard nomenclature should be used.Abbreviation should be avoided.4-6 Keywords are acceptable.Keywords define the field, subfield, topic, research issue, etc. that are covered by the article.
Abbreviation
Define abbreviations upon first appearance in the text.
Do not use non-standard abbreviations unless they appear at least three times in the text.
Keep abbreviations to a minimum.
Introduction
Introduction should be a brief rationale for the study and an outline of the primary aims, hypothesis or research questions.
Result and Discussion
Result and discussion should be combined to avoid repetition.The results should not be repeated in both tables and figures.The discussion should relate to the significance of the observations.
Footnotes
Footnotes are not permitted.
Reference Style
IJPOT uses references in “Vancouver” style vancouver.pdf . A list of all the references coated should be provided at the end of the paper, the reference should not exceed in number.
All the papers are double blind peer reviewed. The responsibility for any statement in the article rests with the author(s).
